In December of 2021, Purple Innovation commenced the Lilongwe US Embassy funded Self Help Ambassador Project, a one year Project worth $6900 in which Purple Innovation constructed a community vocational training center for vulnerable women in Mchengautuba in Mzuzu. The Centre is expected to provide vocational skills training to over 3000 girls and women in vulnerable situations in order to ensure economic empowerment and GBV prevention. Purple Innovation as an NGO has registered a for-profit venture Purple Innovation Limited to support these women and girls in this area.
