Purple Innovation has now spread its impact to NkhataBay and Mzimba Districts of Northern Malawi. Through the two-year Wukani Stop Violence Against Girls Project which commenced in 2021 with funding of $155,000 from UN Women and WPHF, Purple Innovation has impacted over 3000 women and over 500,000 indirect beneficiaries. The Project is also providing entrepreneurship and GBV training and financial support to over 400 women, all survivors of GBV in the two Districts. All this is combined with community awareness and strategic communication with opinion leaders on GBV prevention and mitigation.
